More November...

Here we go - more fantastic things to learn and do! We will continue to work on the moccasins in class, will learn about volcanoes, earthquakes, rivers, glaciers, and fossils, make fossil models, learn all the spelling/vocab. words for unit 6, review and learn about nouns, make feather or Mohawk headdresses, and complete math chapter 6. OH - and we will also work on our superhero stories in writers' workshop. Whew! What a week this will be!


Projected homework schedule:

Mon: Complete pgs. 52-53 in vocab. book. Study words.
Complete math reteach page 6.4.
Complete science page 17-18.

Tues.: Complete science worksheet.
Complete vocab. pg. 54-55.
Complete math reteach pg. 6.5.

Wed. : Complete math reteach pg. 6.6
Write a sentence for each vocab. word.

Thurs.: STUDY spelling/vocab. words.

Fifth Grade Group:

Mon.: Reading group - create a symbol to represent yourself. this symbol must include color. You must write at least 4 senences to explain WHY you designed this symbol, WHAT it represents about you, WHY you chose the color/colors and WHY those colors represent you. This must be done on unlined paper. It is due tomorrow.

Math Group: reteach page 9.3 - due tomorrow.
