Update for the 5th grade math group...

We will not have the chapter 7 math test tomorrow. (Oct.28) We need more time to review the concepts covered in the chapter. We will take this test next week.

The Last Week of the First Quarter....

Yes, this is the last week of the first quarter of our school year. We are starting some BIG projects and finishing a math chapter. The chapter 4 math test will be on Thursday. There is no spelling/vocab. test this week. The science weather project assigned on Monday is due on Thursday. It will be a busy week - as usual. Here is the projected homework schedule for the week:

Monday: Complete pgs. 38-39 in vocab. book.
Science Weather Project: Work on this; it is DUE ON THURSDAY!
Native American Project contract must be signed and returned on TUESDAY.

Tuesday: Complete pgs. 40-41 in vocab. book.
Work on science weather project.
Native American Project Ideas contract must be signed and returned on WED.
Complete math reteach pg. 4.6.

Wednesday: Complete pgs. 42-43 in vocab. book.
Work on science weather project. It is DUE TOMORROW!!
Complete math review page 83; study for chapter 4 math test.

Thursday: No Homework today! Hooray! Enjoy the evening!



Fifth Grade Homework Schedule:

Reading Group:

Mon.: Complete any unfinished classwork. It is due Tuesday.
Tues.: Complete any unfinished classwork. it is due Friday.


Math Group:

Mon.: Complete reteach pg. 7.5 - due Tuesday.
Tues.: Complete review pg. 159 and study for chapter 7 math test. The test is Wed.
Wed.: No Homework! Enjoy the evening!
Thursday: Assignment to be announced on Thursday in class.
