Countdown to Pesach Break!!!

Just a few more days and we will be out of school for Pesach break. This will be a very busy week in the classroom. I know that you are all very busy preparing for Pesach and also preparing for visiting family, travelling to exotic places, and cleaning like crazy! So - we have a very light homework plan for the week.

Fourth Grade:

BRING IN A PILLOWCASE FOR THURSDAY. We will be painting and decorating these for use at your Seders. If you don't bring a pillowcase - you can't make this project!

There will be no other homework for this week. hooray!!!


Fifth Grade:

No homework this week! Hooray!!!!!

The Ides of March...

It is the middle of March, two weeks away from Pesach and spring break, and an otherwise very busy time in the Fantastic Fourth Grade. We are finishing our exhibits for out in-class Ohio Museum, preparing for the reading and math Achievement Tests, and learning fascinating new science concepts. Here is the homework schedule for the week:

Mon. : Science vocab. definitions

Tues: Science: make a list of 10(each)solids, liquids, and gasses found in your home

Wed.: Second Step homework

Thurs.: Complete the rough draft of your superhero Seder story.




Fifth Grade:

Mon.- Thurs.: Each night you will need to complete and study the definitions for the geometric terms we learned in class that day.

Thurs.: Study geometry definitions for quiz on Friday.

Feels like Springtime!!!

Wow! It is so nice to have sunny weather after all of the dark and snowy days. Can you believe we only have 3 weeks (15 school days) until Pesach break?!

March Madness...4 Weeks Until Pesach (and Spring Break!!!)

March. Already?! These next 4 weeks will be very, very busy. We will be focusing on test taking skills and using the Buckle Down books to help up prepare for the Achievement Tests. (The tests will be taken in late April). Here is the homework for this week:
